I am a husband. I am a son. I am a brother. I am a friend.
I was once a soldier, but now work towards peace.
I was once a skeptic, but now I am a believer.
I love music. Art. Creativity. Technology. Simplicity.

I am the Creative Director at Catalyst Church in Morgantown. I had said I would never work for a church. Period. Ironically enough, here I am. This is a church unlike any other I’ve ever been a part of. Started from nothing in Morgantown, WV, it has grown into something bigger and more impacting than I could have imagined. It’s crazy.
By day, I am a person that works with technology, digital media, the internet, electronics, and musical instruments. I create, design, and produce. When I’m done with that for the day, I turn to studying philosophy at West Virginia University. By night, I am a dreamer. I dream of ways to improve the world around us, leave a positive impact in our communities, and leave a great inheritance for our children. By using music, art, and technology to influence people and communicate ideas, we can make a connection with others who would otherwise write us off as daydreamers, idealists, or unreasonable people.
Do you think that Thomas Edison was always taken seriously by the people he interacted with? How about Leonardo Da Vinci? Probably not. If we only think and dream of things that are already considered normal or standard, the whole race of humans will begin to slide into a mental recession. One where ideas slow down, creativity ceases to amaze, and people work like drones in a bee hive.
Instead, let’s continue to think outside of the box. Begin to look to the future and what possibilities lie ahead. Embrace the now, but don’t settle for it. Tomorrow is coming whether you want it to or not; why not make it a better one?
On this site you will find my work, my ideas, my thoughts, and my opinions. I enjoy discussion, and encourage you to comment on my blog posts if anything piques your attention. Some of my posts will range in topic from food, music, technology, politics, culture, and more. I don’t have an agenda on my blog other than to spew out the madness inside my head for others to consider. I don’t claim to be right, and I certainly don’t have all the answers. But I’ll jot down my thoughts if it helps provoke a good conversation.
I am a professional creative. I work with bands, musicians, and organizations to produce a high impact environment, whether through their music, visual media, or overall event. Some of the tasks I enjoy most are FOH engineering for concerts, conferences, and festivals, working with musicians in the studio, coming along side organizations to help them improve their overall digital media experience, and evangelizing about the benefits of social media.
I encourage brainstorming and outside-of-the-box thinking. I love being in environments that foster creativity and freedom. I’d love to help you do the same.
If there is any way I can help you produce your next album, upcoming event, or your digital brand, let me know. Let me know what you’re up to, and let’s see how we can work together to make something awesome.
